• Understanding Your Role: Know the responsibilities and importance of a first aider in various situations.

• Emergency Response: Be prepared to take immediate and effective action in emergency situations.

• Incident Recording: Accurately record incidents and actions taken during first aid to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

• Unconscious Casualty Care: Provide appropriate first aid treatment for individuals who are unconscious.

• Choking, Wounds, Bleeding, and Shock: Handle emergencies involving choking, wounding, bleeding, and shock with the correct first aid techniques.

• Burns and Scalds: Assess and treat burns and scalds effectively to minimize damage and promote healing.

• Minor Injuries: Offer first aid treatment for minor injuries, ensuring quick and effective relief.

• CPR (Resuscitation): Perform resuscitation (CPR) competently to assist individuals in cardiac arrest.

Assessment will be observational and a multiple choice question paper.

Training will run from 9.30AM to 4.00PM. Make sure to get there 15 minutes earlier.
